"Du ru mi-ssi " hahaha i jus like the way conductor Kang Mae address Du Ru Mi, a turning-deaf-violinist. together with musical genius Kang Gun Woo, they form a tri-love :D the plot is not as firey as Iljimae, but the acting & dialogue rox my santa sox!

#3 We Got Married

highly-raved variety show by reb, lynette & val as well. i need not say much, you know its worth watching! (focus on Joong-Bo pairing if u are doing selective-watching)

#4 East of Eden

i,m so gg to start this aft i,m over the beethoven virus. actually i,ve watch 2 eps, got emotionally attached to this drama already. 50 eps is abit too long and hard for me to chase now, but given the high ratings it is enjoying in korea, i dun see why i shldnt watch it! ^^;;

oh and there is Gossip Girl too if you are looking for idol drama in the angmoh version. :D

jus wanted to rant abit on my job! i find that my colleagues are pretty nice people, easy to talk with..BUT they should teach me more on my job, instead of "throwing" (they dont really "throw" throw, haha assign a better word?) work for me to do and here i dun have a clue the rationale behind what i,m doing until i ask. in this way, i,m like doing work w/o a purpose which def doesnt drive work productivity (: anyway, i,m learning the ropes as i go along, and i,m really hoping to find more meaning and purpose in my job :D

wah seeing as i type all these, i miss blogging! hahaha

After 2 months..i,m back to posting again!

today's supposedly my 2nd week of final sem! but i,ve been working last week so here i am! school starts today for me(:

took a shuttle bus provided by NP from tampines mrt; the bus is good! A 26-seater wide seat & ample leg space coach; those where u sit ur ass off to KL kind. I slept pretty soundly on my way to sch! (hey i,ve had quite enough of my aunty-behaviours to snatch seats on MRT during peak hours so i guess this is quite a good choice! defintely recommend this to Rebakah!)

ps: below's my update on FYP. decided to blog again so i could document stuffs abt FYP. that way, i still have some raw-data to fall back on for my final report!

FYP 1

okay, so after a few minutes of interaction, i formed my FYP group.

Xin Yong, Shan Jun, Kiat Weng and me. half from tt01 and half from tt02; its funny how we trust each other (that he/she-is-competent-enough to-be-my-dreadful-f*important-FYP-group-mate) jus by a few minutes of interaction. tt02 peeps were all quickly trying to form a group among themselves jus to avoid this guy call Augustine. Poor thing. looks like he's left alone now.

during lesson, Xin Yong made FYP sound like a breeze! and there was i being so clueless about FYp! credits to him and Shan Jun who take things quite easily!but still, manage to score -.- i dunoe why. isit a guys thing?

here,s wad my FYP's supposed to be:

1) Find a Company
2) Understand & Match their IT needs (e.g. configure POS, website, etc.)
3) Must intergerate with a wireless-component. (e.g. taking orders with PDA)
4) Main Objective: Products/Services provided by company goes Automated + Increase Revenue of Company.

THE MOMENTS of 2007

The saddest moment in 07 was when...
i came to terms that my grandmother was leaving few months before her death. i just cuddle in a corner of the bed and cried myself to sleep. previously when my grandma/aunt pass-on, i really deem as they are gone, never gonna come back. but this time, i constantly felt that my grandma was with me, she was never gone...jus tat i cant see her, but i can still talk to her whenever :)

I felt the most Relieved when...
I passed the driving test. I was shivering in fear when i missed my 1st attempt of vertical parking plus a senior tester is definetly not a tester you want for ur test! My motivation to pass is $$$. :D Money is what I do not wish to spend on anymore on driving. ($55/lesson*20 + all the tests costs ) it costs a bomb!

Secret moment of 2007..
lets just say it has gonna do with my course of learning driving and my sister in the family.

I,m most touched when...
i had "feng mo" and lin shee took care of me! ^^ it was really ugly with bad patches all over my body and she applied medication on me without complains or unwillingness`! thank you! :)

Jacklyn & the Double-D

Jacklyn woke up at the exact position this morning. "gosh, how could it be, I must have been feeling so tired that I didn't move a itch." And off she lazily crawls out of bed and starts off with her daily mundane routine.

He was holding a plastic tube, similar to that of a IV tube, splashing what he labelled as, pleasant-scented-lemon-medicine and used it to clean her mouth. "holy-ass. that hurts." thought Jacklyn.

The dentist continued splashing colourless liquid against Jacklyn's ulcered tongue and the moment she spat out the water, it turned fruity red. Despite an array of house-pliers and sharp, shiny instruments that goes into her mouth, Jacklyn never fear of dental visits. The soured-lemon liquid she tasted the night before was a total turn off and she swore never to taste it again.

Just before the dental trip, Jacklyn was comfortably seated on the London tube when a teen boy occupied the empty seat beside her. From the looks of it, the young chap looks mildly down-syndrome as Jacklyn slightly shifted herself away from the boy and continued mugging the book in front of her, trying to ignore his presence. The teen-boy, dressed in his school-uniform, wondered around the four corners of the train cabinet with his curious bright eyes and finally settled down with the book Jacklyn was reading. "a...b......", he muttered the alphabets as he pointed on the book. Jacklyn said nothing but nod her head. He continued reciting the alphabets under his breadth while pointing the book, often stopping at the alphabet "E". "b....c........" he broke off, as he took out a box of colourful-looking candies. He carefully poured out a few and stretches his hands towards Jacklyn, whom was quite taken aback and politely rejected his offer. And it seems, the young boy does not take "No" for an answer. He persisted in his stretching-hands actions and when Jacklyn helplessly took one of the sweet, his grinned widely, deeming it as having a new found friend. His smile was so infectious that Jacklyn can't help but smile along, too.

After a moment or two, the teen boy suddenly laid his head assuringly on Jacklyn's shoulder. Jacklyn wanted to scream aloud but no words comes out of her mouth, she sat still and pretended nothing has happened as all eyes of the fellow commuters fall on her and the boy. As calmness overcame her, he felt a sense of pitiful towards the child. All they need is genuine love, care and acceptance from the society and receive warmth from the public. Jacklyn can never imagine a child growing up in an environment without love that a child craves for, and laying his head beside her was one.

"Next Stop, King Cross Station", the boy lept forward upon the announcement and bade goodbye to Jacklyn who waved back with a welcoming beam on her face, still with all eyes on the both of them. As Jacklyn see the boy walked out of the door, the boy turned back unexpectedly and bade another enthusiastic wave to her. Jacklyn smiled and tears dwelled around her eyes as she continued her trip to the dentists'.

To make this story flow naturally, the author has connected two separate incidents into a piece of article. The dentists' trip was on the previous night while the real-life account with the Down-Syndrome kid happened months back. But of course, there ain't any rubbish "London tube" in her hometown, and the "King Cross Station", Redhill Station in fact, was adapted due to the author's frenzy for Harry Potter. And last but not least, the author has a fondness over the name "lyn" and therefore the name "Jacklyn" was used, and no doubt this Jacklyn is the author, Yours Truly. :)

fuck buses, seriously. waited 30mins jus now for a stupid bus 80 to aljunied mrt. and in the 30mins, 3 bus 81, 2 136/153 bus and several other loop buses went pass me. and on my right where i was sitting at the bustop, 2 couple sat on the same spot and left. this isnt the first time! bus frequency here are lyk young girls having mensus, VERY IRREGULAR. and not to mention traffic jam during peak hours, makes me even more pek chek! hahaha in conclusion, if there is a choice, choose mrt over bus! dont hesitate`! lols okok i,m ok now after complaining.

was at sj new house @ kovan condo with shee and others playing mj. lols pretty fun!

btw raine, haf u tried the manicure thing? i did mine last night and it turned out quite ok; but the nails are abit too big for my tiny fingers. lols at least i haf long nails lyk lynette!

and with a Blast! the concert started *wee!

there were a few touching moments at the concert; like when they started singing sentimental songs while all of us sang, or rather shout along~~ and the part where the whole hall was filled with the fans voice singing " la~lala~la~~" and they jus kept quiet listening to us attentively. i teared. lols they are not called the best group for nothing! i really love them! <3

post-concert: sweaty and sticky! lols we both lost our voice the next day.

oh ya, back to why i dont wanna be a singaporean. why can't i hold a taiwan PR or better still, a Korean PR! i wanna be in Taiwan now jumping to Mayday concert! i wanna be in Korea when DBSK hold their nxt concert! these two countries have tons of concerts which i wanna go! stinky sg can only produce people like chen wei lian to hold concerts! i dont want! *cries

its so lame! and we had our lessons online, had a fun time chatting with the teacher online.

sorry! haven been religiously updating.
here goes....
jus got back frm JB on sunday. my maternal grandma(in hosp) still has fever and is in a semi-critical condition currently. my family are coping okay-ly, meaning to say we are prepared/preparing that my grandma will leave us anytime. my dad says grandma cant let go of certain stuffs tats why she is still holding on. ya, hospital visits are mainly whispers to grandma's ears, assuring her, stroking of hands and stuufs. okayy.. i,m quite emo as i type this but really thank you for all your concern, joyce, shee, val, bakah, thank you.
might be going back this weekend again. and for this, i,m sorry to the above mentioned people too. i,ll try to make-up for the lost time!

lets see... jus as i turn right at the exit of simei mrt yst, i saw a whole bunch of people crowding ard a lorry. as a typical kaypoh singaporean i sneak out my head to see what happened. reporters check. police check. cameraman checked. i din really know wad the big fuss was about, i jus thought maybe the driver buang into a tree on the pavement or something.
later on, nette n i joined the crowd again. this time i saw a pool of blood stains. we saw 2 man quarreling; nette n i was lyk, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" was quite shocked to learnt later tat night that a 8year-old boy was knocked down by the lorry while reversing(not once; but twice the lorry ran over:(. and he din survive; a pretty tragic incident tat happen in our small, cosy and cute simei =x

next, i guess i haben rply cindy n bakah sms last nyte! i shall do it here kae?

where should i start from? hmmm...

met up withnette and joyce two days ago and we intend to haf just ice-creams on a lazy fri night. it turned out to be a mini-club thing thanks to joyce's fren invitation to a new hang-out VelvetDragon, a very china(pronounced as "chee-na" haha) name for a club i think. there's free flow of Brownies!! i guess thats the hightlight of the day there, cant rem how many times i stopped the prettyy "waitress" for the brownies . music there was OK la, they even spinned Abba's $$$!-.- a funny thing that happened to joyce was that she obediently kept her hands to jus one glass of rum coke that day, nothing more! :p hahahaha
then it was off to 85mkt with nette while joyce braved her way home(she has a glue-sniffing neighbour)`` it was pretty quiet at 85mkt, with only 1 bakchormee stall, ngoh hiang and carrotcake stall open! no matter what, i,m still contented with jus one bak chor mee :)

yupp here i am to blog about some old stuffs.
my itchy hand linked me to one St.John member's blog(hint: she,s from MJ, currently yr 2, ex-tampines sec.) and from there, i went to other SJ members blog.
To be honest, im having really mixed feelings right now. its been months since i cease sj activities and going back to evss. tmr, im gonna face one of my platoon mate who is still currently serving st.john cus he's working for IT fair tmr too` and needless to say, he,ll for sure talk about SJ stuffs.... which.... i dont wish to talk about it at all. i have yet to submit my resignation letter which means, my name is still in the organizational chart :( even though i always and forever complain abt how bad EVSJAB is...if you ask me now, i will still want to go back and serve the corp. cus there' is just too many feelings and emotions i left in EV.. my 3 glorious years of competition, winning trophies for the school, my platoon mates, Some of my ever-trustable seniors whom instilled this strong sense of belonging to the corp in me.. shit mans. if only i dont get so emo now. argh. cb. i think im gonna tear.
i mean life right now hasnt been that bad either. more time with family, dramas, lots of friends outing, mahjong, all the stuffs that i like to do. but why do i feel that there is something missing in my life right now?

i jus found a new korean boy band, er, not really new to the entertainment scene, DBSG/TVXQ!!! hahahahas. quite cute eh. read lots of news about them while searching for shinhwa's stuff. so i went further in knowing them better! lols. they are actually quite cute eh! seriously, as much as i try, i couldnt find any members who are not-so-attractive! they are the typical boy-band with gushing looks, especially the leader Xiah. BUT :) SHINHWA still rocks.

anyway, i did haf fun today for cny visiting with all the gossiping and criticising! budden the atmosphere was less rowdy and noisy as compared to last years'. hahaha. nevermind, its alryte :)
while jam and val are looking fwd to their aplenty drama CDs taken from bakah, i,m all into this korean drama that is going to be shown over ch u in mar( finally a decent korean drama on a local television)

Triple As!! the student the lousy East View would be most proud of! woots la`` actually the moment she left a taggy on the left side; i knew she had done extremly well, if not she wouldn't have bother to type such stuffs. lols. indirectly, i am trying to say she is proud. LOLS why not? she have every reason to be proud of can!! coming from a PSLE score of less then 199, moving on to 2nd class in our sec.3 years and scoring a perfect score of 12(if i,m not wrong!) to enter MJ. and while there, she refuses to give up one of the 4 subjects she took! *claps.to.her* and while her constant worries was English, she passed can! Triple As and a B. chian, youu should jus do wad interest you most. dont ask anyone. u better heed this advice from someone who had tasted and taken a longer route to her current BIT course! :)

lols. been enjoying good food daily this cny. never get to miss those abalone and seafood on the dining table; which is good! cos i love them and such delicacies only appear during cny. other than that, i,ve been having soy sauce and porridge. so now youu know why i love cny. :)

and cny is oso a time for gambling. i guess its really a social thing. i mean we meet up with relatives( alright, at least for my side) for only lyk twice or thrice a year. so when we meet up, its not lyk we haf the moon and stars to talk about. after updating each other about how the respective family members are doing, there is practically nothing much to talk about. so out comes the $$$ and gamble all the way!!! lols. wad better way to bond over MAHJONG!

Hahas. mistaken not; i have no dates or roses-in-my-hands this Valentine. spend this day with my loved ones, parents! hahaha went chinatwn and luckily it wasnt that crowded and i see PIgs everywhere! cute ones, fat ones, glittering ones, piggy banks one, hanging on the wall one, waxed one, alot alot more! easily spent a hundred on god-knows-what. its lyk see what buy what la. but i lyk it! :D
Before that, i had 3 continuous papers. farking got. operations mgt on a lazy tues aftnn. biz LAW(evn more farking) on a half-awake wed morning and marketing on a cant-wait-for-it-to-end wed aftnn! so its 3 hard-core memorizing papers on a span of 2 short days! hahaha really taxing mans. initially i really dont think i can cope with this lousy timetable. but thank goodness i adopted this selective-memorizing strategy. that is memorize ONly those that ish impt. this has its pros and cons of coz! saves time, brain juice, better focus, really good for last-min cramping. but here comes its cons. blaw's heaviest weightage qn(18 marks mind u) i TOTALLY BU HUI!(cb) really man. i invented my own law, created some new duties of an agent and stuffs. yup :) totally cb. arggg
oh ya! on my way to sch this morning, was sprinting my way up the escalator at simei mrt coz the train was approaching. then that was this fat, uh, Plum :) lady ahead of me joining this 24m sprint race. i was right behind her when she occupied the center of the escalator, making it impossible for me to overtake. there's only a few steps left then she paused.
i wondered why. u know why? i tell you why.
a second later, i saw her short little fat right leg stretching all out. she's trying to make a big leap to the pavement! hahahha i wanted to luff out loud at her! but cannot la. her little raddish legs so cuteee :))

hello everyone! sorry for the lack of updates. i think i,m suffering frm blogging-withdrawal sickness. hahas. whenever i,m walking alone, or on the way alone to sch, i would think of things and many stuffs to blog abt when i get home. BUT! i tend to forget them when i reach home. thus! the absence of entries :D hadn't been really busy lately; jus so-so la. haha. here's wad i,ve been up to: Daily dose of SHINHWA(must-have), some korean and taiwan dramas and tiny bit of revision/homework. hahahas. ya, not forgetting gossiping session with frens. yupp tats abt it~

oh ya CNY. its been a year! when i started out on this blog, my first few memorable entries was on CNY too~ abt my mum striking 4D if i cleaned up my eathquake room. today, no difference, cleaning up a portion of my room brings to a exaggerated expression on my mum,s face. very helpful motivation :) speaking of which, CNY has not much ultra impact on me this year. must be your fault, lorraine n lynette! who ask your butt itchy fly all the way to States leaving me here totally clueless on wad i should look fwd to for CNY. :( :P hahas, i will bring along your hearts to CNY visiting okay? footnote: I will collect your ang-bao zua for you oso ok! :) *nods head* :D
wont be doing any cookies-baking this year too :( thanks to a well-planned Ngee Ann Exam Time-table. last paper is on 16 feb, Eve of New Year Eve. at the most i am in time to bake chocolate cake? any orders? hahaha. i will eat alot the day before to prepare your orders. haha.

one way or another, i regret taking up french for IS. its so difficult to learn; maybe because i,m not putting my heart to learn it. sucks man. tmr ish the written/oral assessment, and i know nuts! the teacher n i can stare at each other for oral assessment, maybe then he can count n tell me the number of pimples i have on my face. y din i choose financial planning!!! that was the module i told myself i wanna take last tyme! wth. stupid. okok.
was on my way just now to meet nette for dinner at eastpoint. was abt to cross the road frm the bustop there when i saw something shining brightly frm the deep blue sky. as much as i am a great liar:), this time round i aint making any stories! it was a big ball size shining brightly up there. i stared at it for a second when it dissapeared from my sight. too loss for any movement, i continued staring at the sky lyk a spastic ger. it re-appeared again few seconds later right in front of my very own eyes and it jus went past very quickly, heading towards my right. so shocking! many thoughts came across my wild mind. is the earth coming to an end? i havent had sex yet =x was it a liu xin yu? nop, cant be. too big to be one. most importantly, was it a bomb or crash? apparently it seems not, cus both You and I are well alive reading this entry. so wad can it be?! aiya! i dont know, so i jus quickly make a few wish moments later. haha. i find it quite silly thinking of the wish i made on the road. okok.
Lynette saw it too ok! we were so loss for words to describe our experience!
i immediately told my dad whn i saw him at eastpoint and he said i was BShitting. wth.! he must be jealous i witness it. Father, ch5 news jus now did a mini report on it ok! many ppl anxiously called up to ask wad was it, but apparently nothing has been said abt this rare sighting.

the moment i saw this subject heading on my inbox i was quite amused. sincce when the zi bi L had a role in the weepy 1 Litre of Tears? i thought hard, trying to recall if he did appear in the drama(although my mind was only filled with Asou Haruto then! haha). and i typed this on google, Matsuyama Kenichi 1 litre of tears, and this picture of him struck me.

He looked so different from his "L" image in death note ryte! the "L" i know is so malnourished, had a ghostly appearence with his thick eye liner and flour-face. the moment i saw this picture, i remembered him as the kid who ditched Aya , her basketball senior. surprisingly, peeps whom i know especially those mad with basketball, are pure flirts and bas***ds. hahaha. okok :)

he is so much better eh? but of course!! :)

for the first post of 2007 i,m not gonna make resloutions or whine abt projects that i have to do or gossip abt things. its gonna be dedicated to All About Eve!!!
this kdrama was shown over chU in 2001/2 when we were sec 1 or 2? i guess some of u might have watched a little before! and re-watching it now is jus TERRIFIC! i simply simply love that show so so much. after goong fever i,ve yet to reach a state of anxiety, IMH, siao ding-dong, hysterical mood for a drama. allow me to emphasize again, its so so very the nice!!!

given the rainy days, it is little surprise that we will be drowned in sch projs. jus submitted my HRM draft to yishi and i feel great. hahaha no point dragging. actually i wanted to watch kdrama, Lovers. but my liang xin saes its better to smack my butts off and do HRM. initially, i tot its gonna bore me and i,ll sure be tempeted to surf the net. but i jus kept on doing! happy :D left with OM,BLAW, PMKT. ARGH! my happiness is indeed shortlived :( hahaha but no worries, with HRM 80%done, i can at least watch a decent muvee tmr! speaking of which, lynette phua ish coming back in say, 16 hours time? lyk so fast, i haben really missed her yet! =x and another jun yeow oso, in 12 hours' time. *Death.Note :)

haha, this title's for U, lorraine :) guess she must be on the plane playing with eldon and clara now. haha woke up mighty early today to send lorraine off, and the moment i woke up lying on the bed, i told myself, i cannot cry. haha~ true enuff tears jus swell up my eyes when i saw her entering the boarding gate. seeing her tear flow makes me so heart break la~ thankfully, we din really tear in front of her. dunoe why, isit because i,m not fully awake yet and my emotions have yet to wake up from their dreams(at the airport), i felt that raine is just gg for a holiday after As and she,ll be back next year, soon enuff. wierd :) anyway, hope to hear from raine when she settled down in states.

watched star awards last night and was particularly keen to know who made it to the Top 10 list. i was glad christopher lee got in, given that Fann Wong din manage to win any award. and i think before christopher lee went up to stage, there was this newcomer elvin ng, n he started his thank-you speech with "wo ye shi xin ren". and after that Chen wei Lian repeated the same line in his thank-you speech for making it into top 10. WTFcuk! i,m Definetly not discriminating the disabled, really. but how can someone who can't even make proper eye contact with the audience be given best newcomer? liddat anyone oso can be newcomer can! wa piang oie.. when i heard him say "wo ye shi xin ren(then laugh silly to himself-.-)" instantly, i turned off my TV. i,ve been nice enough to keep my comments on him winning the Project Superstar, but to win Star Awards, i must say Singapore really lack actors. Sucks big time!!! Fark la.. jus concentrate on ur singing can n stop polluting the already-not-very-famous local entertainment scene.

yea^^ i,m sitting infront of my comp typing my first legal post. LOLS u wont get the chance to see me in jail anymore! :)
actually, recently i was kinda hesitant to write any more entries in this blog for fear that i might just Blast off with vulgarities and unglam blogging ettiquete. aiya, its better not to know any more la hahaha.

and on my way down the escalator today i saw the back view of my pri sch friend with his granny. gramps. he was carrying the shopping bags with one hand and holding his granny hands on the other side. it struck me that he din change his neat and short, no-frills side-parting gel hair since pri sch! and ya, he dont seem to have his parents with him most of the time (i mean i,m not sure where his parents are and stuffs...). ever since pri sch, it's always granny whom fetch him home, attending sch events and stuffs. evry now and then when i see him at eastpoint, i wont fail to see granny beside him. it was a heart warming scene when i see them down the escalator. imagine guys at the age of 18 still hanging out with his gran? other guy frens of mine are like busy playing comp games, flirting with xiao mei mei (Utterly Gro55)? and actually one thought came to my mind...DON'T laugh at me alryte! by saying this i,m t-r-u-s-ting YOU to kip it to urself. i thought of lyk spending some time with him every now and then and be filal to his granny too~ LOLS. it,s just a thought that flashes thru my mind la. i wont ponder over it :)
