7-word game
firstly, i,m sorry for the lack of updates!
lets play the 7 word blog game! i learnt it from a korean music show(MTV School of Rock)!
it goes this way: jus blog, or rather exercise ur creativity and "summarization" skills, in 7 words! nothing less and more.
shall adopt this method of blogging due to time constraint!
tied with work and computer-less at home!
(pls note: "computer-less" = 1 word cus of the "-"(dash) in between)

tiny announcement!
Hi guys! As you should be aware by now, we have two birthdays coming-up!
Cindy on Oct 1 and Lynettes' on Oct 6(our BBQ date^^)
Try as I may, I dont think I'll be able to make time(attachments, driving balh blah) to collate all ur responses as to sharing and buying presents for them. So, everyone get them on your own kay? unless someone *hints* wants to do so! i can offer some suggestions on what to get for them , sms me ur budget kae?

alv at gio
so I see, a few of my friends keep bumping into alvin lately. Yes yes ladies, I know he is working at Gio, MS. Lols I find it very funny whn u guys(esp. Deheng, both Alvin n you are guys, whats there to be so excited about seeing him? Unless!!! HAHA) spazz about spotting him sumwhere.
As I was saying, do hold your breadth when u see him next time, and maybe when he has grown some middle-aged man boobs or is seen wearing his underwear on the outside or sumtyn, then do come n tell me about it!
Since we are on Alvin, I think he aspires to take over Giordano in Singapore or something! I tot he still has his parents chicken rice store? LOL. He has been working there since last year or earlier? jus like our dear yingxue.. look at her, she keep saying JohnLittle is not an ideal working environment, but she has also been going back there n work! (I know its for $ yingxue:)) i can visualize, 20 years down the road, both yingxue n Alvin would dominate the Fashion Retail line should they combine forces! LOL
jus the thought of that makes me giggle to myself~! Hehee

lunch with cindy
Had lunch with cindy ysterday. Over dinsums n porridge, I hear her experience of SMU, whats like receiving poly-like education for her, and I realize there’s a lot I can learn from her. And if I could use one word to summarize her right now, its Persevering. Lols its one of east view’s St.John motto too! Pride, Honour, Perserverance! Okok pretty redundant.

fry-day
on fri, both xuewei and firdaus sms-ed me wishing me a happy birthday! lols was very nice of them though they got the month mixed-up hehehe

first week at daimler-chrysler is pretty boring, there,s nothing much to do anyway, except helping myself to endless cups of milllo! haha

Jacklyn & the Double-D
Jacklyn woke up at the exact position this morning. "gosh, how could it be, I must have been feeling so tired that I didn't move a itch." And off she lazily crawls out of bed and starts off with her daily mundane routine.
He was holding a plastic tube, similar to that of a IV tube, splashing what he labelled as, pleasant-scented-lemon-medicine and used it to clean her mouth. "holy-ass. that hurts." thought Jacklyn.
The dentist continued splashing colourless liquid against Jacklyn's ulcered tongue and the moment she spat out the water, it turned fruity red. Despite an array of house-pliers and sharp, shiny instruments that goes into her mouth, Jacklyn never fear of dental visits. The soured-lemon liquid she tasted the night before was a total turn off and she swore never to taste it again.
Just before the dental trip, Jacklyn was comfortably seated on the London tube when a teen boy occupied the empty seat beside her. From the looks of it, the young chap looks mildly down-syndrome as Jacklyn slightly shifted herself away from the boy and continued mugging the book in front of her, trying to ignore his presence. The teen-boy, dressed in his school-uniform, wondered around the four corners of the train cabinet with his curious bright eyes and finally settled down with the book Jacklyn was reading. "a...b......", he muttered the alphabets as he pointed on the book. Jacklyn said nothing but nod her head. He continued reciting the alphabets under his breadth while pointing the book, often stopping at the alphabet "E". "b....c........" he broke off, as he took out a box of colourful-looking candies. He carefully poured out a few and stretches his hands towards Jacklyn, whom was quite taken aback and politely rejected his offer. And it seems, the young boy does not take "No" for an answer. He persisted in his stretching-hands actions and when Jacklyn helplessly took one of the sweet, his grinned widely, deeming it as having a new found friend. His smile was so infectious that Jacklyn can't help but smile along, too.
After a moment or two, the teen boy suddenly laid his head assuringly on Jacklyn's shoulder. Jacklyn wanted to scream aloud but no words comes out of her mouth, she sat still and pretended nothing has happened as all eyes of the fellow commuters fall on her and the boy. As calmness overcame her, he felt a sense of pitiful towards the child. All they need is genuine love, care and acceptance from the society and receive warmth from the public. Jacklyn can never imagine a child growing up in an environment without love that a child craves for, and laying his head beside her was one.
"Next Stop, King Cross Station", the boy lept forward upon the announcement and bade goodbye to Jacklyn who waved back with a welcoming beam on her face, still with all eyes on the both of them. As Jacklyn see the boy walked out of the door, the boy turned back unexpectedly and bade another enthusiastic wave to her. Jacklyn smiled and tears dwelled around her eyes as she continued her trip to the dentists'.

To make this story flow naturally, the author has connected two separate incidents into a piece of article. The dentists' trip was on the previous night while the real-life account with the Down-Syndrome kid happened months back. But of course, there ain't any rubbish "London tube" in her hometown, and the "King Cross Station", Redhill Station in fact, was adapted due to the author's frenzy for Harry Potter. And last but not least, the author has a fondness over the name "lyn" and therefore the name "Jacklyn" was used, and no doubt this Jacklyn is the author, Yours Truly. :)

26/8 i cried at my pipmpled-manifested face and blog song.
i also dun want my face to be like this, i too want a good complexion lyk my sister :(
i tired alot of things but it doesnt work. my dad,s encouragement made me teared even further. i hate my skin liddat. i dun ask for tofu-like skin, jus glass-clear spotless(edit:okay, maybe i limit to max. 8 spots.) skin will do.
